Light, power and a fridge :-D hmmm

Next step is to drain the oil out, split the gearbox off, get it on a stand and start stripping the head and block e.t.c Then it'l be getting a good inspection and then once decisions have been made, off to have some machining work done :-D

It's not on par with chris's monster unit, but it's not a bad little workshop really !

not much at all, riggy gave us a fantastic deal, chucked some extra bits n bobs in with it too... i've yet to have a really good look at it.

We collected a 1.2Spi for his corsa on the way to pick this up as a favour

i didn't give that engine half as much abuse as the one burgo has.
but i'll be honest.
that one ran nice and smooth, i personally thought it didn't come close to the gte engine burgo got. but it was smoother.
the block burgo got was hard as nails. picked up the power all the time.

the gsi engine, got there eventually.
but asd engines were the same. i would expect there was a small floor in the injection.
so i would say your on for a good runner, considering it only ran under 90k miles

no worries sean, as it's not in a car then things like rings, valves e.t.c can be replaced for a minimal cost. It'l get a full rebuild anyway, so im not fussed. As log as there arent any holes anywhere ! lol

Did your GSi have an E16SE in it then ?
