for my final year project at uni we had to make a weather station (not too physicsy i know)
One of the things to measure was temperature and initially i was gonna use a thermocouple and build it myself. Instead after a bit of thinking, i decided to use a display unit out a corsa (lazy!!!). It seems to be pretty accurate too

doesnt sound very interesting lol, my project is to model the orbital motion of Jupiters moons using a 6 inch newtonian reflector telescope that i got off ebay for ?70 pmsl.
So you might hear of Suttons laws/model of orbital motion in the future. :D
