Stupid Question- Squeak-

When I put my fan/heating/radiator(whatever!) on in my car,(mk2 nova) it makes and irritating squeak on settings 1,2 and 3. how do i stop this NE1 ! lol

Where is the squeaking coming from?

It could be the alternator belt slipping as putting the heaters on puts more strain on the alternator.

Just thats a prob i had on mine, when the belt was slipping, switching the heaters on would make the squeaking worse

good old wd40.... where bouts do i spray this :oops: excuse me for bein stupid

when you lift your bonnet under the scuttle panel there is that black plastic cover, take this out and there is your heater motor. just give the bearings a spray then turn it on and keep spraying till it shuts up

that will work for a bit but u'll really need to replae the motor eventually as once they start they just get worse
