Just wondered if anyone knows of a company who either supplies them, or could make them?

I have Spax coilovers with the front lowered about 70mm, but the rears are non adjustable at - 60mm (springs & dampers)- so am after some shorter springs to lower the back futher, due to the stripped and caged rear sitting higher.

Thanks,

Robin.

I found when i had the rear coilovers it wouldn't go low at all, just bottomed out so have gone to Coilsprings 100mm rear springs instead now.

:o -100mm!!! Well done sir! (hats off to you!)

I guess you are using shortened dampers with those springs!

Any pictures of -100mm? (I take it the pics on your feature are with the coilovers)

Using shortened dampers, yes. Not got any recent pics, took some on my camera phone last night but thats not much use. Bearing in mind its stripped of everything in the back there is just over an inch of the Speedline in the rear arch, if it had interior it would obviously be a true 100mm.

Pics in my profile are on 70mm springs.

Only on the front, the rear ones need to much work as you would have to turret the rear to do it properly.

Will try and get some pics this weekend.

80mm is a waste of time realy if you want your can to handle as the shock is basicaly bottomed out at that level.

When I ran my rear coilovers on my FWD nova, I chopped out the beam mounting point for the coilover, and modded the beam to lower the mounting point (by about 2"), thus keeping the shock working in its optimum working region.

This could deffo also be done with separate spring/shock set-ups.

yup can be done with the std rear set up austin, i think thats how martin hill got his so low, re-located the rear beam shock mount
