I have just completley fucked up my door cards. I made new ones and covered them in black and silver/grey fabric, they dont seem to want to stick back on the doors now tho.

I actually cut a piece of mdf just big enough to span across the to existing handle holes, to this I attatched a simple metal knob from b+q. The wood part was covered in the black fabric so it was an extra layer on top of the card itself. It will look good in the end ... i hope.

It is hard to find a replacement handle and I think if you have a mate that can bend/make you a custom handle then this is your best bet.

mk3 cav passenger handles are good for door handles....you know the ones...they are above the head of the front and rear passengers.....the bits they hold onto when your @ 100mph 10 feet away from a roundabout!!

They usually are in either black or grey and fold down y themselves when not being handled!
