1.2SPi exhaust problems

After the cat decided to give up on friday leavin me stranded on the motorway i decided to fit my SRi system (non cat). Got it all off apart from the manifold which wont budge - a 13mm is too big and a 12mm too small and 1/2 wont fit either. Was wondering if i can use a manifold off another MPi 1.4 such as a mk3 astra or a corsa or do i need to deffo use the SRi manifold.
Any help much appreciated.

lol mine went like this, just file down two sides of the bolt untill a 12mm fits on :wink:

i found that using a 12 sided 13mm socket would just round off some of my old rusty manifold studs

a 6 sided one however worked fine

perhaps try to find a 6 sided 13mm and see if that works

failing that a corsa sri 8v manifodl is the same

as is a 1.6mpi astra and a very late nova gsi (C16SE engine not E16SE)

ive had all sorts of different sizes on it, for some a 12 fits and others a 13 and ive had 12 and 6 sided ones on it! I cant get into some of the bolts to file them otherwise i would have done that. I think ill just get the breakers to take one off an Astra 1.6mpi.
Is the 1.4 not the same??? Its an SRi exhaust that im trying to match the manifold to.
