Can't get my tracking checked

I had some new tyres put on yesterday, the tyre fitter said that it looks like my trackings out. I asked him if they could do it, they said they can't because the cars lowered and they need to hook it over the back wheel. I have tried two other places who have all said the same :? Has anyone in the southwest had their tracking done on a lowered nova? If so where did you have it done? Or is there a way to do it myself?

you mean 4 wheel lazer alingment ?

just find someone to do it without the lazer alignment, i know a chap local to me and he sets up racecars/track cars without lazer alignment gear and it's been spot on ever since.

There's a place near me that used to do it but afaik they've closed now.

surley they could lift the car on one of those lifters with the arms that hold the car underneith rather than a ramp thus when the car is lifted the wheels will drop.

Cost him ?35, but that was a little while ago so prices might have changed :wink:
