Alright guys.....

I've had a s**t couple of months as far as the nova's concerned :(

Back in March I had a guy hit me after not giving way to the right on a roundabout, a clear give-way violation which he is now contesting the c**t.

Also.....

8 nights ago some C**T twocked my car, smashing the rear quarter window, lifting the pin, and stealing my sub, amp, cd's, sunglasses and f**king gear-knob! Oh, and my mates solder.......

18 next week so HOPEFULLY with money I've saved and with some help from my parents I'd love a new motor :D

Whats the first thing im gonna do? CLIFFORD G5 CONCEPT 650!

There is light at the end of the tunnel I spose.......

If I ever find out who broke into my car though the light at the end of THEIR tunnel will be swiftly extinguised.

Cheers.

Well, the shell's dead im afraid. It was falling away as it was being welded for its MOT (which it SCRAPED!)

The engine however is bloody good, and will not go to waste. I'm selling it to a some formula boys who race 1200's and 1300's nationwide, they'll strip it and upgrade as per the rules.

They'll probably banger race the shell with their old engine, that'll be a good lads night out at Arlington! Seeing my old nova going out with a bang (literally  )

These comments will probably pain some of you, but its truly knackered, so I'm giving it a good send off..... 8)

As for a new car, unless I stumble over a MINTER of a nova, any suggestions?

I was thinking MK3/4 Golf or Sazuki Baleno.........

Suggestions?

The mark 3 Golfs are well underpowered upto about 1.8.

Plus insurance for you at 18 on a 1.4 will be over ?1200. When I had mine it was ?1400, But then thats in scum bag London.

Get another Nova mate.

My dads GTi 8v is a bit limp, 115bhp I believe

He's pissed off because both me and my sister have better cars than him (ST205 and GTi180*)

*DISCLAIMER: This comment is not intended in any way to imply that I, Razorjack, condone the use of a GTi180 on public roads. Unless you're a homo.

dont get a clifford mate. they are too good for there own good and will piss you off in no time. they allways go off for no reason whatsoever and just generally piss you off.
get a Toad allarm mate. they are soooooo much better and hardly ever go wrong. plus they are much simpler to operate too.

If you are 18 there isnt really much choice for a decent all round car. Seroiusly at your age your goin to be paying shit loads for anything really over 1.6. If it was my money id get something like a corsa sport, polo or golf(driver).

thought a golf driver was a 1.6 and 1.8

iff you want a golf the lowest engine size is a 1.4 i think

I thought alarms going off for no reason were down to a poor instillation?
