last weeks events

over the last week i have been diddling and creating so thought i would bang a few pics up to show you.

first off the spare set of wheels i had for track got sent off and returned all spangly (other set need doing now cos they look crap lol). they still need cleaning in the pics but the camera did them proud :D .

next job on the list was to mock up a camcorder holder for the car as i refuse to pay the silly money expected for them. ?2 later and a very successful trial drive equalled this 8) ..

And finally the horrible job. After part of my manifold unwrapping itself i decided to redo the whole thing. What i didnt expect was to find 9 cracks within the manifold :( (but it is 8yr old and mild steel so done well). I took it to a mate who braized over the cracks so i could atleast get the summer out of it with some luck before a new one will be on order. Then wrapped it, the whole thing took 50ft of wrap with only one cut off of 6" remaining......
