1.2 with 14sr head??

my mate had (what he said) was a 1.2 with a 14sr head on it, and it went like stink!!! we had it doing 120 with 4 folk in it!!

has anyone ever done this and if so what difference did it make?

tell the truth u really r off ur head even with a porsche head on a 1.2 u wont get 120mph with 4 people

Ive got a standard 1.2 but its been crypton tuned to the max and i only get 105 to 110 max n thats with just me in the car

are you sure it wasn't a 1.4 head on a 1.4block?? lol

was always lead to beleive the 1.4sr head was pants anyway and the 1.4sri head with the bigger valves was the way to go
p.s porsche head may not fit :wink:

the 1.4 sr head is absolute pants!! the 1.2 head is light years ahead of it.

1.2 head- 58cfm on flowbench.

1.4 head 53cfm. even ported you wont see anymore than 60cfm

Compare that to the MPI 1.4 head which on a big valve normally give about 84cfm when ported right

the 1.4 sr head has more restriction in it than the 1.2 head. so your mate was talking pish!
