ive just seen a lad drive past me with some sort of uprising tape on full blast
ive not heard of any and havent been to any for years tbh i grew out of it and assumed everyone else had

has anyone been to any if so what
i used to go to dizstruxshon uprising and massacer in the lat 90's and a couple in 2000 and 2001

also remember uprising vs diztruxshon happening at scunny baths hall

iirc helta skelta was down south
where was pleasure dome based

there was also one at fantasy island in skegness

rave / dance scene never died - it just got boring and far too commercial...hopefully now its back underground ( or at least not splashed on the box as much ) it,ll rise from the ashes once more ..If you want a really good night out go for an old school goa / psy trance club night - and if you like this style of music grab yerself a copy of Astral projections in the mix ...........

tbh i rarely go to clubs due to been married kids morgage ect

i go to my best mates house in a village 10 mile away
on the friday nights we go to the pub i have two beers and thats me cant be doing with r lass bollocking me for being pished

last weekend we went to the local and it was a st trinians night there must have been 20 of the village lasses dressed up in sluty school uniform

up at Lindale , Sw cumbria , there is a "rave" twice a year in about 3 farmers fields.

i've never been, nor even possessed the urge to go but apparently they just have a huge marque and tons and tons of people go. there's also apparently an abundance of "burger" vans lol.

pretty crap if you ask me, but some people must enjoy it :?

epo , i can understand where your coming from mate - ( mortgage ect ) me n the missus and a few pals went to brixton academy last bank hols to see a storming psy trance act called Infected Mushroom . It was a blinder . Its the first time i,ve be out ( used to attend many a night at these dos ) for over 3 years , i could have seriously got into trouble - not being pished mind ( ?4 for a can of carling !!) but the birds were amazing , there were allsorts - witches cyber goths hippies and some of the most stunning bondage queens i,ve ever seen - (this is not meant to be sexist - they were all very good looking women.....and all the power to em !!)

Sadly tho , its not the window shopping that gets you into trouble but the thieving that gets you gripped .
And i hate to admit it - i did feel a little old ( reaches for the slippers coco and crossword )

the guy that organises the one at lindale does one at coniston once a year i used to live there for a bit and went once ! i didnt realy like the music but i got mangled and woke up in a field about four pm good night as some folk i know are into all that shit! i might even go again this year!

unless he was inocently carrying out some highway maintanance and its hot outside so he has some water to get quench his thurst, but then by accident he happened stumble into a rave full of undesireables and now hes trying to get the attention of the photographer to ask for directions to the exit.

theres a massive rave soon, i think its at the end of the month in southport or something. its a three day special with a hotel to stay in, go karting, rock climbing n stuff. each event is still usually packed out its just it did go a bit funny for a while when they tried to commercialise it all. alot of the old hardcore djs are working under different names making bounce now.

dj sy, with his scratchy little fingers! i think hes the guy behind cheeky traxs. i havent heard much hardcore recently. the last rave i went to was a couple of years ago at milton keynes, but im not as fit as i used to be and dancing to that stuff nearly killed me. the music has started to go a bit more underground now. i used to mix it a fair few years ago but stopped buying tunes when they started remixing bloody steps and the verve!
