Only problem is there too big so ive sorted that by getting some 10mm spacers only thing is I need to get some extra threaded bolts 16 in total to go on the wheels anyone know where I can get em?????

as your usiing spacers you need longer bolts as they wont reach. Ive got spacers on mine, i have longer bolts in all of them. Im not sure what they are off though as they are one we found lying round at the garage

Nope cos at the back they go that far in that the wheel rubs against the petrol tank pipe and the rear suspension ive sorted that with the 10mm spacers but i need longer bolts Cav GSI ones dont fit cos they r the same as nova what i need is to compensate the extra 10mm

What about Omega wheel nuts. Surely they must be longer?

what makes you assume that omega wheel bolts are longer? lol
im 99% sure they are similar if not the same length.

get slimmer tyres as 225 is FAR FAR too wide and silly.

Dan uses those wheels with 195's and there is no rubbage.

Lol-Just cause the chap next door has an Omega MV6, & when he was changing his tyre the wheel nuts looked much longer-Although I think the MV6 is a sports edition so maybe its because hes got massively wide wheels.

I cant get 195/50/15" on cause its all cost and the tyres on now look mint the spacers are only for extra safety cos like i said not enough clearence in this day and age there must be a company that makes wheel nuts 12mm x 60dia x 34mm thread surely someone knows god this is a nightmare its like being a kid n waiting for christmas u just wanna open ur prezzies n play like i want the wheels on to play lol

Its a nice idea the tyres but like I keep saying i dont need tyres perfectly good Bridgestone tyres on at the mo. Plus ive spent on the spaces it will be a lot safer n stylish with the longer threaded bolts thats all I need cheers for finding the link though ill keep it for future ref...

You're aware with those cav wheels your speedo is reading nearly 10% under your actual speed?

(assuming that std nova tyres are 185/60/R13 lol)

Not a problem I dont look at my speedo I drive a 1.2 nova merit 0 to 60 in 3 days top speed about 85mph when towed lol

i don't think your quite listening to the advice people are giving you.

Get a set of 195/45's or 195/50's

I think you'l find the handling would be slightly improved due to less trye flex (i certainly noticed a difference from 50 to 45's), they shouldn't rubb at all and will look nicer with a lower profile

go ahead and buy some longer bolts, but your running an unnessecarily wide tyre with a large profile percentage

Looks like were both in luck ive trawled the net and local alloy shops and finally ive got a list:

If like me you want 205/55 15" you will need 10mm spacer plates and the bolts will meed to be 12mm x 1.5 x 45mm Thread (tapered)

i was gonna suggest the likes of

Demon Tweeks

Also try* Wheel Base*

i know they supplied a mate with longer bolts for 30mm spacers so theyll cover anything you need 8)

ive driven with ET38 alloys and the handling was shite, it tramlined allover the place

your gonna have made your wheels into et39 with even wider tyres than i run

so you car will tramline more, the tires will catch on the front arches (mine did with 40mm drop over bumps) the rears will need rolled and may still catch even once they are rolled due to the size of the tire and the 10mm spacers

its just a totally pointless exercise.

if the tyres are good then buy new ones and sell the old ones on ebay, if your lucky u'l make most of your money back

nothing more annoying than driving along and seeing a corsa or nova with stupid offset wheels with the wrong tyres on, just looks f?ckin gay and will make the car sit higher too negating your lowering
