well after my erm.... painted engine :oops: iv desided to polish my parts intead so iv been working on it all this week end
done the rocker cover, oil cap, some of the cam cover and some of the head
5p for anybody who names the program on TV ;)

how have you gone about doing that ?
Just Stripped it and cleaned it back to the metal and then used some polish and a cloth ?

yep, using very fine wet and dry, then im going to ues a few tons of that tube metal polish stuff
right, so u just stripped it back with something like P800 ?
think i may steal that idea for the head, cam housing e.t.c on mine, just gonna paint the block and box dark grey tho...

it'd take months to do all the casting round the gearbox lol

i was going to do the whole engine but ill be to busy doing my 'no comment' to do the whole block
