alrite lads, me and my workmates are building a nova rally car and are going down the swift gti engine route! weve got the car there.. in fact weve ripped the engine out already.

what i need to know is whts needed and where to get neccesary parts for putting it int othe nova. im lead to believe that i need 1 modified engine mount and that the nova gearbox will bolt on along with using the shafts too.!

any help/advise and tips much appreciated

cheers

Thats gonna be quite a good little engine to drop into a Nova in that case. Got any pics of the Nova that your putting the engine into?

and i think they were also the fastest 1.3 production car at that time.

yeh ive seen it done on a few nova's and even in a corsa!! i spoke to one owner of one 2yrs ago but didnt go into detail about the whole conversion, wish i did now tho lol

havent got pics yet, the roll cage is fitted and rear disc conversion, 2ltr front brakes and suspension is on

the engine is 1300 16v twin cam with 101bhp., were fully stripping and rebuilding it and porting/flowing the head before fitting then with a full exhaust inc 4 brancher and panel filter with drilled airbox should see us a good performance hike! hopefully be quick in our class

Ive built a couple in the past.

they fly on carbs with headwork and cams,

One of my customers revs it regular to 10 000rpm on L1 cams (BDA profile)
