Selling this on behalf of my brother to make some space in the garage for my other cars.
PLEASE NOTE - The car is currently declared SORN so will need to be towed from its current location in Surrey.
The car has not been used for over 3 years and has remained in the garage all that time.
A few details and images -
1986 Vauxhall Nova 1.3 SR
40,000 miles (approx from memory i didn't check today as it has started raining)
Webber Carb (rather than the Pierberg)
Pace exhaust system
15" Calibra 16v alloy wheels (needs new tyres all round)
Late spec front and rear bumpers
clear rear lights
single wiper conversion
Toyota Yaris rear wiper.
De-locked passenger door
Central Locking
The faults:-
My brother began to convert the dashboard from the early dash to the late spec dash, so at present this will either need completing or the old dash re-fitting. The original dashboard will be included in the sale.
Choke Cable - Is not connected because of the above.
Rust - there are a few small bits of rust on the off side wing, it is probably easier to replace the wing rather than treat it. Other than that the car is generally very clean
Alarm - is fitted but this doesn't work anymore. Laserline alarm.
Drivers Door lock - damaged during an attempted break in, thankfully the alarm still worked then.
The Car has stood for 3 years UNSTARTED although it was a great runner once in daily use, it never let my brother down.
This would make an ideal project for someone! There are also lots of other bits in the garage that my brother bought for it, that would be included such as a 4 branch manifold.
