Hi there im selling my much loved Series2 Escort Rs Turbo, bit sorry to see it go but Serie's 1 Rs Turbo force's sale, i fell in love with this car when i first seen it, i had a fiesta rs turbo before i bought it.
Its had a lot of things done to it that are recommended, it's had cosworth front brakes 290mill i think not 100%, rear disc conversion, bigger garette t3 turbo all set up properly, brand new baileys dump valve "recipt", straight through s/s magnex exhaust, chromed brake fluid holder, 15" chromed alloys "recipt", clear tailgate lights "recipt", momo gear knob and gaitor leather's "recipt", OMP sport steering wheel, koni adjustable all round, its been lowered 60mill and looks lovely like this with the chromed alloys, samco hoses, turbo timer, incar boost guage showing 8psi, this car has NO superchip or bleed valve as i dont belive in them, they fcuk your car, the seats are Recaro "buckets".
This car always gets warmed up when i take it out, as of you whome know how a turbo works its no good starting up and driving straight off, i let the car warm for at least 8minutes each time i start it, bit of a fuss you may think but i value my car dearly, same when i turn the car off it has a turbo timer as i mentioned above, so all i do it press the button lock the door's and leave the car to turn off itself.
The things ive done since had the car is a full oil/filter change, new plugs, brand new battery "recipt" 2 yr garantee, bought a turbo badge for the side of the car, brand new pioneer 6x9 in the parcel shelf ?110 and 8cm pioneers in the front ?90.
It has a TOAD alarm CAT1 but i dont have the certificate, you could get it tested from an auto electrition but i didnt need the certificate for insurance purposes so didnt bother getting it, the car has been de-locked apart from boot and has remote central locking by the key.
Ive just bought a new'ish clutch of one of my friend who had it on his Series 2 for about 2000 miles and wrote his car off on a round about, so that is there for whome ever gets the car.
Its got 31618 on the clock, the past owner a friend of mine had the engine rebuilt.
The door and passenger wing could do with getting sprayed, they are white but arnt a pefect match, the is a slight dent in the back panel where the last owner had a trolley fly into it off the wind, the old wing had a scratch of a trolley aswell so rather than get it fixed and bodged i bought a brand new wing from the shop, i also got a door as the old one had rust on the bottom.
Another thing this car never see's less than 1/4 or 1/2 a tank of petrol as i dont belive in letting them run dry.
The MOT runs out 19th January 2006 and TAX say 1st July 2005.
As you can see on the picture below there is a bit paper work for the car e.g old MOT's, Recipt and other stuff.
