Cylinder Head?

Would a head taken from a astra 1.6 (not sure which one) be compatable with the GTE engine, as mines warped and that's all I can get my hands on at the mo.

Also if it did, would it effect the performance?

No mate the head will not be compatable as the inlet ports on the heads are different. Have a better look for a GTE head, there not that rare!!

the ports are a different shape yes and would match correctly but the head would fit..??

if the 1.6 Astra has the same engine as urs (E16SE/C16SE) then it will fit.
