Well like the novas not gonna be enough work i bought a rival project for a whole ?50 :D lol

1.9 GTI

bit more taxing than the nova,

needs near side rear quarter n outer sill, aswell as one major clean up n some trim n maybe a new near side door

will be having the same diamond white respray as the nova ( jus for the look really)

going original gti style with this full gti trim and 1.9 alloys polished up stripped interior etc etc

pics to come after work commences on w/e :D

Mate of mine had a mint black 1.9 GTi.... which he then promptly cartwheeled through a hedge! :o

Ive driven a 1.9GTi before & I really liked it. Nice one mate :wink:

dam good cars. out handle novas by a long way even/especially with standard suspension. and the Mi 16 is a good transplant engine as its ally block so keeps the handling

Id love one of them but can't get insured on one and the parts arent as cheap as on the nova.

They are cracking cars, and the 1.9 bloody shift as well even with the engine standard.

ok nick i take it back as you indeed did not say that partcular picture. however the way your post is set out to me it implied that that was an mi16 engine

had a 1.4 xn a few years ago and enjoyed driving that nippy and handlin was good, been in a mates 1.9 a while ago and was fun ..

will get more pics as i do more stripping of it over the w/e :D cheers
