hi ppl. i have dropped my nova -60mm and am having majour problems decideing which wheels to put on. i dont want to just rush in and buy the first set that comes along as the money is tight just now due to engine mods, and sometimes wheels look different off the car as a pose to when they go on. i am thinking 15's. does anyone have any ideas or pictures??? ( names of wheels if possible would be great ) any help will be a great help. thanks v much. kev

i've got a set of MVK3's, just needs to go a bit lower -80mm i think now

look like this at the mo, -60mm

spraying them a satin silver (hate the crappy chrome finish) they're different to the everyday speedlines you see.

Depends what look you want to go for. As you say money is tight, have you considered buying some Vauxhall alloys? Cavaliers, Astras, Calibras all can donate a range of 15" alloys, my personal favourite being the cav Cesaro wheels.

If you want wheels that suit the nova think along the lines of Compomotive Mo (about ?400 for a set of 15") or Speedlines? Both are available in et49 for spot on Nova fitment.

If you want more "modified ride" wheels then you could be here for years... I like the look of most OZ wheels, especially the Record and Chrono Evo. 5Zigen and Lenso also do some nice wheels. Its all down to personal preference though, do you like Multispoke? 5 spoke? Split rims? Deep dish? Chrome? Spinners? (ok maybe not spinners... lol)

Best option is to think about what kinda wheel you want first then ask for suggestions if you're still stumped.

your problem will be finding them in the right offset.

Don't believe what mail order magazines say, they send them out, and you'l get as ET40 instead of an ET 45, and they'le deny no knowledge of it.

out of common makes i can get you a list of anything ET 45 and above, they'le mostly be 5 psokes.

If money is tight then i would get some Cav rims as razorjack said.
Cav gsi rims sprayed black look cool 8)
especially if your car is white or black.

Look at epos old sri, that had 15" cav rims and was dropped 60mm, looked sound  :D

hi guys, thanks for your help. i have already thought of the vauxhall wheel option and have decided against it as it quite common on novas and corsas where i am. would really be thinking of multispoke or five spoke, buget would be around 300 quid but would buy second hand if the look was right. is 49 the max offset i could go on my mk1? any more suggestions on wheels????? cheers. Personally vauxhall wheels always look good. But if your after spoked wheels have a look at some team dynamic monzas they look good in black and a fairly cheap brand new.
