Which Brakes?

Hi peeps,

My brakes on my 1400 SR are dying so i need to replace them. I have the special SR steelies (14 inch), look on my feature to see them if you're not sure.

Anway....

I want to get some bigger brakes, i know that you can get astra gte fronts on novas, but will i need bigger wheels? If i do, what would be best to get under the wheels i have at the moment as i cant afford alloys yet? I have been told there were two sizes of brakes on astras, 256mm and 236mm? Any ideas?

V-Tuning do a 256mm kit (http://www.v-tuning.com/GM%2016V%20Brakes.htm) which they say you need minimum of 14" wheels for, so you should be ok.

get the 2lt brakes, they fit. Are very close though.

they wont fit with new disks and pads afaik, however if u use old disks and pads they should fit just fine
