Just thought i make all of ya aware of a bluetooth virus/worm

I don't know massive loads about it I got sent it about 2 hours ago in a cinema

basically, I always have my bluetooth on and tend to accept any random crap from most ppl, (daft i know  ) although i never let things get installed on my phone without prior investigation,

This file is called "caribe.sis"

made for a symbian phone apparently it installs itselfs and can block things (or so I have read)

but anyway just thought i'd share that!

I liked it because it uses the word coagulated which, along with smock and plinth is one of my favourite words

they add some funny sh1t in to them to make them taste different, stilton for instance has mould spores in it to make it have those blue veins

yes, me like a plum got it sent to me over 2 months ago on my Nokia N-Gage.

I accepted thinking someone in my college was sending me a game or something of the sort.

And then nothing happened until I noticed that the same message came up on my m8s phone saying that it was from ME.

I tried turning my phone off and on and it reloaded the virus.

I tried deleting it using file explorer.

But in the end I had to use a special code I found on the internet to reset my whole phone :(

yeah but i do get some really funny things off of ppl, so i normally accept it

if it's an installation file i normally check it first before installing it.

doesnt leaving your bluetooth on use your battery up pretty quick?

doesnt leaving your bluetooth on use your battery up pretty quick?

Some people have had that problem , but ive never noticed it myself.

- The only reason I accepted it is because I thought someone in college was having a laugh sending me a joke program or something like that!

but now I have the Motorola E1000 and you have to click FIND ME before they can see u even if your bluetooth is on.
- unless they are paired with you!

if you have some of the sony ericsons like the T610 and someone accepts your file you can get in and go throuh there phonebook pics and vids! a lad i know sends them a file and then deletes there phone book ! he also gets pics of birds with there tits out from there boyfriends phone and we try and spot her in the pub! so dont accept anything from a guy called CAPTAIN NEMO "in cumbria at least"

yeah it eats it! still lasts 3 or 4 days untouched though so i'm not so bothered i take quite alot of pics with mine and i use bluetooth to transfer them to my comp regularly.
