If i change my rev limiter to 7200rpm it going to blow my engine?
My specs is:
1.6 8 valve engine (E16SE); KS piston?s +0.5; LUK clutch kit; Ported and polish head; Bigger inlet manifold canals with the ports matched to the cylinder head; 280? camshaft; Customized valve seats; Lightened and balanced Flywheel; Throttle body butterfly restrictor off; Complete exhaust system with 4-1 manifold; K&N 57i Induction Kit; Silicone blue spark plugs leads; Bosch super 4 spark plugs; Short Shift;

Now is at 6800 rpm.

my old 1.3sr didnt have a limiter on it and i could rev it to around 8500rpm in 1st,2nd and 3rd easily, and its still running sweet as now, so i dint reckon you'll blow it up.

i wonder how long that lasted? I know that an sr engine wont rev to 8500rpm without serious damage, i found out the hard way.

Clutch, off topic a bit, what quarter mile times are you getting? Got any power figures?

I wouldnt bother to be honest.
Money would be better spent on other mods really.

Plus you would need ARP con rod bolts.
