Breaking my engine due to 1.6 upgrade (see link in sig for spec)
1.3 Rally Spec Block

Rebored/ Honed Block to nearly 1400
Uprated Oversized Pocketed Pistons (allows wild cam timings)
Ground Crank
New Main & Big end Bearings
Turfide Crank (??)
Full Dynamic Engine Balance
Lightened Flywheel
Flywheel Faced
Block Face Skimmed (higher compression)

A one-off Bill Blydenstein 1.2 head. 35mm inlets valves, 31mm exhaust, fully flowed, ported etc. Only 6-months old and is coked up nicely to give best power (will add 12-15% bhp roughly).
Head will ideally suit a 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4.
Cost ?500 + the actaul head.

The engine and head above coupled with Twin Carb's and an aftermarket cam will see a v.nippy car. I have rolling road print outs of 101bhp from the previous owner and 103bhp from my setup. Thats more than a GTE/GSi.
1.2 Standard head, good for putting on a 1.3 or 1.4 to raise compression a bit and give slight more power, especially so on the 1.4.
