home made twin 12" sub box

hey guys ive recently just made a twin sub box ive sealed it all and gonna carpet in side but should i port it ? or does it not really matter ?

Why put carpet inside :?
You need to find out whether your subs require a ported or sealed enclosure, and yes it will make a difference.
It should tell you in the manual to the subs :wink:

dont know where the manuals are but ones splx 12" and a jbl 100w gt4 sub 12" htnaks

am pretty sure the splx will require ported not sure bout the jbl think they might be sealed but dont quote me on that :?

well i remeber wheni had my splx running it was sealed and sounded better than when i ported it but not sure about jbl i'll find out when i get them running and after the sealer has dryed :D
