quick question about connecting the battery

right got the battery in my bedroom at the minute charging it, but when i put it back in and connect it, what one should i connect first ??? positive or negative ???

or does it even matter?

just i dont know anything about electrics etc so...

Yeah put the positive RED terminal on first,
then the negative(usually BLACK) terminal last.
