GTE head on SR?

Hi guys

Theres a modded GTE head on ebay. Its been ported n polished etc, just wondered if it would go on my 1400 SR, and if so would the head ned modifying to get it to fit properly?

it would need skimming down about 5 or 6mm to bring the compression ratio back up, way too much, you want a 1.2 carb or a 1.4 mpi head for good gains.

Yep-Its not gonna gain you anything-You will probably lose alot. Get a 1.4 SRi head, Port & polish & you'll see some improvement.

are the sri heads ports the same shape as the sr or do they need modifying etc?

just get a 1300 head, will go nice with that manfold i gave you :wink:

or a well modded 1.2 head (like the one i have for sale?) will fit the 1.3 manifold.
