i want to take the grill off to mesh it how do i do it??

is it a mk2? when i did mine, i took the grill off then melted all the plastic welds to seperate the black section from the rest, cut the centre section out of the black bit (the louvered section) then cut the mesh to fit puting some bends in around the edges, then sandwiched the mesh between the black bit and the grill and melted all the plasic welds back together. this way the grill just clips back as usual.

o cheers im having trouble taking the grill off do i just force it? i dont want to break it...

lol, u av 2 be abit rough m8, if u are on about gettin the grill of as to where the clips fit under the vin plate u need to get a flat blade screwdriver and slide it underneath with a bit of pressure and then push down on it and they will pop out easy as!!
