the reason there are so many fords is because essex is the home of ford that is the holl pont of going down there to beet the ford boys if they dont like your car that is because it is shit the pont of going down is to race and show your car off, rember southend is 1 of the biggest cruises in britain [have fun racing]

Southend Seafront, Basically you sit in traffic all night, have some idiot start revving up, and melting paint of the your front bumper with his 12"x4" exhaust.

However the 'Casino End' is a different story.

Coppers down there are actually ok, one of them was talking to abouit 30 of us, showing us his engine ST200, saying what its had done to it. Taking an interest in our cars (well my mates not my Mondeo. lol)

The actual Seafront ios the shit end, if you go and park up down the Casino end, you can have a good conversion with people. Saturday night just gone, an old bloke pulled up in a Pug 205 5 door diesel, and starting speaking to us. I thought he was just parking up to go the Casino or theatre, but he had a couple of MI16 205's, a 220bhp 106 GTi Turbo.

They aren't all idiots and chavs contrary to popular beleif.

You see some nice cars down there, Mk1 Escort's with Cossie lumps, 400bhp R5's, LET Corsa's, Few Cav T's, Loads of Cossie's, few various RS Turbo's. They're not all chavs kitted fiesta's, corsa, sierrias etc.
