rev limit on xe

Could the rev counter be wrong after a conversion to a xe from a nova gsi? i wondered about the limiter so foot down in 2nd going into a 70 zone and it went just past 7 and then hit the limiter, i thought it was 6495 the limiter or has my ecu been chipped?

i used to able to get 60 in 2nd just at the limiter, i think the limiter is just under 7k on the standard ones.

6800 to be exact

either the engines been chipped and that has raised the rev limit (pop the cover off the ecu and look)

or the nova rev counter is shite and misreading (probably this case tbh)
