Right I finally got off my arse and went outside to take some pics.

Its a 1.2 standard nova. The only thing different is Air Filter / carb has been changed.

I am goign to be doing work to do it. Just to tidy it up and maybe a T-cut n polish :p

looking like a pretty tidy base car, dont do anything foolish like stick fibreglass cr*p alll over it!!!lol :lol: good luck....

Sorry for the lack of size skills. Now been fixed


Nar The general plans are to tidy it up maybe a respray lower it drop some rims on it and leave it at that. When I can get insurance at a decent price i'll drop a bigger lump in it

looks fairly good at the front, is that a weber 36tlp carb? got any pics of inside the boot?

It might be. I never had it fitted. Was fited before I picked it up from my bro.

There is abit of rust on the doors and in the engine bay other then that its solid. Not looked under the car for any other rust. It had been sitting on the drive for a year went for a MOT and passed. The guy said he's not seen a cleaner moter for this age. After speaking to Dar allday on msn he has given me a few ideas on what to do with it. Just a general tidy up is in the case atm.

I will take some pics of the boot etc. tomorrow and post them here

looks like a very good base car, keep the grill and bumper combo it looks good

Thats one clean nova. Perfect base for a engine conversion. Keep the grill, bumper conbo really suits it.

hehe that bumper ended up on there after rear ending a corsa in the wet. It had some dodgy fog lights on it. When i hit the corsa it bent the bumper inwoods and the fogs hit the rad and cracked the rad. Drove it home stopping at every petrol station on the way. Was funny at the time but waking up the next morning and looking at what I did wasn't very fun :(

I belive its a gte bumper / grill

Nah just a pre '85 bumper assembly, as fitted to the sport
