Sub,Amp,Speakers.Anyone?

What package would you guys recommend for the
choons?At the moment my GTE's got a Sony
headunit (30W x 4).I have about 300 quid
to spend on ICE. Its been suggested by an
ICE specialist that I buy an Alpine MRVT407
amp with Kenwood WS253 sub @ ?185(including
box,with the Alpine SPR692A 6x9's @ ?75.
I know Novas are a pain in the arse to fit
anything in!Anyone know what sounds absolute
pukka in a nova for this sort of money?:-/

top of the range sony 6X9's sound the dogs dangelys run off the head unit. they are about ?30-50 ish depending where you get em (halfords are a good place for ice).

as for the sub and amp thing hmm the alpine amp and kenny sub sounds like a good combo. or you could try and find an infinty 10" kappa sub. ive seen em for ?50 ish. Just keep your eyes (and ears) open for deals and stuff

in my old nova i had this set up:

1 DLS 12inch sub ?130 in box
1 alpine v12 amp ?140
1 set of jenson 6*9s ?50

with just that at MSC i hit 134.8db
ps. when putting your 6*9s in put them in your rear 1/4 pannels sounds and looks much better...

i would say sack the 6x9s to be honest, if there in the back shelf,

fit some components in the doors and aimthem at the drivers head, youd be amazed at the sound improvement for the same money

dont bother with halfords for ice information coz there shit, get info from a shop then goto halfords who will PRICE MATCH any price in the back of max p or fast car, so find the cheapest price, anywhere and theyll match it.

if your lookin at subs, the new fusion stuff is gonna be hard to beat this year, be careful with so called ice experts, get a few opinions coz often they try and sell what ever they have in the stock room, or can buy cheap.

and if you read my first post did i say go for advice?? hmm NO i didnt!!! i sed they were good for ice . mainly coz they have a fairly large selection and they do the price match !!!!

and u will av a very powerful system. Bridge the 600 watt amp to the 800w 15''sub and it is VERY LOUD
