Yeah - I have never driven the car in the wet and it was the first time that I had even remotely driven it in anger with the new suspension etc. So I was being nice and safe (I wanted to take it home in one piece). I hope the next trackday is dry so that I can have a proper go and test the handling.

The bright orange escort is my mates car that we have been building this year (in my garage). Its running a cossie lump. My dads escort is the blue mk3 RS Turbo in the outside footage.

Im getting the videos from inside the Mk1 Escort hosted and will put links to them on my page. They are worth watching just for the noise :P

Im getting some more video footage off of another camera soon. So I hope they have some of Russ's car. It sounded loooverly. It was 99db on the static test and 103db on the drive by :twisted:

G-T - The orange car is the Mk1 Escort I've been working on since christmas, it's got a cossie lump in it. I should have the in car footage of it hosted soon.

Thanks :D Its good to hear other peoples comments. I have more videos now. My first run is really quite slow but it shows how slippery it was out on the track, plus i've never driven the car in the rain :oops:

The two second runs are better and its fun to see the same set of laps from another car....and the Nova overtaking :twisted:
