Black or Red

Im getting my nova re-sprayed and its got standard bumpers that are grey atm but im getting the car done in ferarri red and i dont know wether i should get them done in black or get them sprayed red to match the rest?

I have black indicators and rear lights also.....

Did you do those bumpers yourself Nick? What paint did you use, or anyone else with anthracite?

that's a bad example of Anthracite bumper grey colour..

but this is the paint which came on frontera's, your bumpers dont seem to have been painted, just the color they came out of the mould.

best way I'd describe anthracit is like coal - has a shiney v dark grey colour to it.

Those wheels look good. Nick-The bumpers look unpainted! Closer pics might be better.
But I think it usually looks the dogs nuts on red cars-Black bumpers wouldnt look as good.

Anthracite is the colour of the plastic they make the bumpers in. It's what they have down on the vauxhall spares computers.

So, no they aren't painted, and it's the best Anthracite colour to have as it's the one and only original !

You'd have to be VERY perticular about what anthracite you use, as sometimes it'l look a bit crappy.

I'd say that anthracite paint on those GSi fan wheels is good for wheels, but it's too grey for bumpers.

oh, and if your after some new anthracite Gsi kit, i can give you the number for a place that supplies the proper GM parts at a slightly lower price than vaux

(i was also told by vauxhall that they couldn't get the Anthracite bumpers anymore)

Oh ok, Didnt know that. Can I have the number please? I think that anthracite on the wheels would be a little too dark for bumpers too-Didnt think of different shades :roll:

k matey i'l sort out the number and the website for you, i only got the front buym,per, but im sure they do the whole lot (original GM parts)

try at your local vaux garage, some people have got them before, but i had no luck, they even ordered one in, it came in primer.

painted anthracite is a bit odd IMO unless the whole car is literally mintly restored.

I ordered one too! Lol, Unfortunately in primer & was damged so not impressed with Vauxhall & its only at the end of my road. :o

PM me the number mate & I think I'll probably get the full kit. My cars gotta go to the bodyshop again soon...So it will be even minter then it was (Minus the drivers wing at the mo!). Red with antracite bumpers should look good I reckon!
