Fitting a sunroof to a non sunroof model how hard?

Hi all

u have just bought a 1.2 nova as it is MINT to put my valver in but i really wanted a sunroof model. Has anybody on here ever done the conversion? if so how hard and how long? if anybody has info on how its done id be very greatful. I have an st sunroof still in my sr to put in it.

im not 100% on this, but im sure sunroof'd models had extra strenghening on the roof for the sunroof,

can't see it being that hard though, depending on th type of sunroof you got

to be honest i wouldnt bother with the sunroof. as finding a good condition non sunroofed car (for rallying etc) is getting harder, therefore tehcanically the shell is worth more without one ;)

you dont get much more cooling from having one fitted anway.

u could put a pop up one in quite easily.. but there shit.

a tilt n slide factory one would require a huge amount of work wedling in the frame and wouldnt not be worth it

plus - as said above non sunroofed shells are highly sought after, dont waste it!
