Is it okay to use a wire off the ciggerette lighter to power my amplifier? I have done it and it seems to be working fine... but I just want to make sure...

have you ever heard of a drill and gromet? if you pull more that 5Amps through it as it is your fag lighter, clock, stereo and anything else connected to it will die!!
