alrite lads i had a 10inch jl sub powered by a pheonix gold amp and and had shit loads of bass and i could hardly hear the song i was playin all i heard was the bass then so cunts nicked my car and stripped it (wankers )and now the insurance norwich union are wankers wont pay up. So to get to the point ive bin offered twin 12inch jl subs all boxed for ?160 has any1 done it or will it have to much bass

i would go with the too much bass!!! idea. try some components or good 6x9s to get some fill

Is there such a thing as to much bass! I dont know how the JL Audio subs compare to earthquake or Eminence, I have 2 eathquake (used to have 2 eminence) and they give mega bass and i LOVE IT! But make sure you have got some mid fill too. ;)

I have a single JL 12" sub fixed to a JBL amp and it is *******g face shaking!!!
I love it - Two would be amazing providing you get a decent amp to power them.
If you cant hear any mid/high end sound get a smaller amp and some 6 x 9s and you'll be laughing LOL
