im supposed to be getting a 1.4 mk2 nova sri
its been off the road 6month
98k on it..(not plannin keepin the engine anyways :) ) all old mots
drivers door is fuckd
lowered 60mm
TOWBAR gutted lol
rolled arches,not rot on sills or arches
no tax mot


is there anythin else i should look out for on it..

Rust on chassis, inside boot corners, suspension turrets, battery tray.
You are normally guaranteed to find some rust somewhere.

will i need to renew the brakes as its been sittin or will takin it a spin help them

wait to you drive it mate if you have to renew them uprate to 2.0 16v stuff well worth it should be fitting mine this month :D

see when i uprate the brakes is all i need is. 2ltr 16v calibers n discs an they shud go str8 on or is there loads of work involved
