If u have got the skills to be able to weld in a piece of metal to make a badboy bonnet then it eould be the best way, but after looking at how the nova bonnet slopes down at the end i reckon it would be very hard to weld in the extension bit to the bonnet. Personally id have a see if anyone could weld u one up and if all fails get the bonnet skin.
my other idea is buy a supernova spoiler and smooth it your bonnet so it looks like is one piece it will be easier than welding and cheaper
yer i was thinking about that aswell epo, might be worth giving that a try.
even if you f**ked it up you'd be able to take it off easyer than a welded in piece of metal as it'd only be filler.
i was thinkin about making the extension out of mesh and filling the hole thing as it wpouldnt be that big so might not be a problem?!?
any ideas on how this could work?
dont mesh or fibreglass an extension on the front.
2 reasons
1 at speed it'll crack under wind resistance and may come off if not dont right
2 when you close your bonnet it'll crack.
best thing is to get a garage to weld an extension on the front - they can then smooth the welds down and blend it into the bonnet properly.
Thing is bad boy bonnets are outdated now and unless done right look crap! Just make sure the angle isnt too extreme, you can still reach the catch to open the bonnet release and the corners blend properly with the wing about the indicators.
Best thing would be to possibly look at an entire bonnet skin - that way you get perhaps a fancy vent or shape in the middle. Just get it fastened on professionally. Saves picking up the bits on the motorway when it comes off!

My bonnet is a welded plate. It covers the whole grill & still passes MOT.
Although you cant see much in the dark (thank god for street lamps).

your bonnet looks best imo i really like it
(dont sell the car   )
tbh i don't think bad boy bonnets suit novas, but thats just me, iff you seriuos about doing it weld a plate, that way its not going to fly off and kill somebody
