hi im just wondering what are the biggest size rims i could fit on my nova with a lowering of 35 40 with out cutting the arches back cheers
I'd say 15"
You *might* be able to squeeze some ET49 16" wheels on, but I'd recommend getting some decent springs and shocks to keep the suspension pretty rigid

Gmax suspension kit is good and can be had for 200 quid.
Yup, GMax is good budget stuff and does the job.
If you have more money to spend then you'll be looking at the likes of Bilstein and Koni. Last time I checked, Tuning.co.uk do a good price on Bilstein dampers.

yeah you'll deffo get 16's on that are the right offset providing you use 195\45\16's tyers
and for suspension id go for spax adjustables thats what i had

Thats what I had on my hatch, nice and solid 8)
Only problem I found was the rear was a bit too low. Swapped for some 50mm springs and it sat just right.
They're about ?4-500 new tho! Or around ?300 second hand! :o

As long as the guy hasn't murdered them it should be pretty sweet although he reckons he's looking for 100+
I don't think they'll sell for that much...

Ive got spax Psx dampers with pi 60 mm lowering springs and in my opinion they handle really well and arent to harsh on the bumps. I feel if u go any lower than 60mm with out coilovers the handling is shit. Me and my bro tried 80mm at the back and felt it didnt handle aswell as when the 60mm springs were on.

i forgot 2 mention that if i bid on theses i will b putting them on my 1.2
can i do this

If those springs are made for a 2.0 16v won't the front sit higher when put on a 1.2, as they're designed to compensate for the added weight on the front of the bigger engine...?
