Home hifi speakers

Just a short message from a tight bastard! I`ve got a spare pair of quality hifi speakers, 3 way. With a bit of hacksawing and an mdf baffle board i could get them in the front doors ok but will they sound any good? they`re rated at 100w rms (head unit 40w/channel), don`t know if they`re 4 or 8 ohm impedance though, will this make muck of a difference? Cheers :D

theyre probly 8 ohm and theyll sound poo...

they are 8ohms!! it will be ok but better to get decent car speakers
