At the moment ive got 2 10inch jenson subs, although the system is loud cos ive got two amps powering it all there is hardly any bass, could this be down to the fact that the jensons aint that good or should i go for some 12's

Have you got any crossovers in your system? Check that the bass is actually going to the subs. What wattage are those subs you've got and how much power are you feeding them from the amps? I've got 1 300w Magnat sub in the back of my nova and if i turn it up i get a free back massage!

Fenix is right, check it is just bass going to the subs and not everything else aswell. I have a 12" MTX sub in the boot, running off the sub channel on my headunit (about 70w rms I think) and like he says I get a free back massage from my sub aswell!!!!!! :)

I would have thought that the amps have built in Crossover/low pass filters.
