Right! I have finally got it all sorted and car is back on the road!

I have adjusted the dissy timing to get it idle ok. However when I rev it and even when I drive it, it starts getting jerky and sounds like its misfiring. Does anyone know what would the reason be?

Also the dissy is very advanced and you cant go much more, would that affect distributor advancing even more when engine speed increases?

Cheers!

sounds like ya cam timing is a tooth out if you have had to advance the dizzy loads

i'd wait before you go adjusting cam-timing.

See what other people think before you bend any valves.

well move it one tooth then turn it over by hand and if it moves freely try starting it

Guys can it be the overlap problem? Or valve duration?
