electric windows

hey ppl,i just won everythign i need to fit electric windows on ebay the other day got everythign through and i was wonderign if anyone knows of a site that could tell me how to take the old manaul window moters out and throw in my electric ones any help apretiated

hmm the guides dont seem to be working at the min :( well not for me anyway

just away to say that i cant get them to work soem handy stuff on there aswell

there easy to fit anyway mate

1. drill out the old winder mechanisims by drilling the rivits
2. rivit the electric motors in the 4 holes
3. run the wires from each motor through the doors and down the sills , and the accros towards the handbrake where the is a earth
4. plug the switches into the loom anf fit into centre console
5. plug in the 2 plugs into the fuse box and you should be away


if your car was a mk before g reg you wont have the wire for the black plug in the fuse box , so you will have to tap it into another switched live behind it
