Ive been told that I must not put too much through the subs to start off with, how long for? They are 10" Boschamn subs in an enclosed box.
Until the weekend they are running instead of my 6x9s on the normal speaker wires.
They are not too bad!

On my box, its all enclosed, would it be better if I took the plastic screen off the box, so more sound could get out? Would this be better? Or wouldnt it make a difference?

Cheers,

Cris Gonzalez.

you'll get a much deeper sound with the plastic on. Your'll find it much better running from an amp.

If it came enclosed then I would assume that it is meant to stay enclosed.

You can run as much power as you want through them straight away (when i say "as much power as you want", i mean as long as you dont give more than the subs max power or RMS rating.) The subs will get better with time, they will settle as they are used.

Run them off an amp with good fat wires, and kep them sealed (in the box they came in)
