can any1 tell me the best way to turbo a c20xe,already got the engine,which turbo/manifold would be best to do this conversion??? what else would need changing, got the money just not the know how on what i need.

if your going to turbo an xe then you may as well do it properly. autronic management and lc pistons.
you can do it with a set of let pistons let turbo let management let exhaust cam etc etc but seperately they would cost you as much as an let on its own so totally pointless.

The diff between XE head and bottom end to LET is cams, valve springs,
spring seats, pistons, Top piston ring, oil feeds for turbo.

XE head is the same as a LET head and the only difference is the cams

there shows no difference on EPC in valve springs or spring seats between the two engines

the bottom end has different pistons and rings and the oil gallerys are simply blanked off with screw in plugs

tbh by the time youve baught the manifolds, turbo, ecu, loom, rebored/honed block, new pistons and rings and found LET cams u may as well simply buy a LET and use that?
