laquer bumpers?

:( Do you -have- to laquer bumpers when having the re-sprayed? i wanted my bumpers to be MATT black, but laquer means they will be 'glossy' :(

it depends on what paint is being used and the finish quality required. if the black surface has been sprayed using a matt black paint it may have to be laquered to seal it. im not sure how that would work to keep the matt finish though but iv seen it done.
