Alrite, toying with the idea of putting power steerering on the Nova & was just wondering whats needed ?
I've heard you can use a shortened Corsa steerering rack & an electric pump from a Saxo ? not expecting it to be a straight forward fit, but shouldn't be to difficult with a few pointers from folk who have already done it !!
Pics / list of parts needed would be nice !!

Cheers Rich

Hi,
Got power steering on mine. I use the electric colum from the Corsa B.
Pretty easy to fit, just need the ECU that comes with it moddin to bypass the speed sensitive part. This can be done by Harry Hockly for 200quid. If your interested in doin it can give you bit more detail, but it is pretty easy.

I have a text step by step guide of how to do it. I pulled it off of the net when I was building my car. I haven't fitted powersteering to mine yet. If you let me know your email address I can send the guide to you.

I'm also running the Corsa B steering column, I got My ECU modified with Walden engineering for ?70 cash!!

I've got a power steering set up for a Nova for sale, it includes a modified Corsa power steering rack complete with track rod ends, Saxo pump with seperate header bottle, pipes and wiring/relay etc... ?250 ready to fit

Cheers guys, thats gave me a pretty decent idea as to whats needed.
Is there any benefits one over the other ?
If i decide to do it i'd say i'll probably use the Corsa rack & Saxo pump set up, can you get a quick rack kit for the Corsa power steerering rack?

Cheers, Rich
