frontera sport arches or vitara arches may look ok as they have a similar shape to the novas. or you could make a design similar to a lancia integrale arches - they dont come much wider than them!

have fun getting tyres for them and paying for them, why wont the wide arch kit fit? Those wheels would probably fill the arches out well, instead of using 3 inch spacers.
i thought that meslef but was told otherwise .. after looking at rallycross kits personally i think they would fit perfectly and look great ..

it looks the same, but apparently there are a few different ones that are slightly different
that red en seems to lok slightly wider .. u dont no the person who owns it by any chance ???

Might not be as bad as you think - 245/45/16 are ?97 for Toyo T1R for example.

maybe so but it would be about 400 for a full set, which is fair bit. IM happy with my ?50 ones :D

dont think theyd be that expensive

 thats almost how my et38 wheels looked
I reckon they'd fill a wide arch kit nicely 8)
considering jus using somethin like a bmw arch and makin em euro .. reckon a wide arch will cover n look rite but 600 jus to fit some wheels is goin a bit far i reckon ..
ill see wat the w/e brings .. cheers for ur help tho fellas 8)
ok I have taken all options into consideration and had great ideas from ade as to cuttin off the whole rear quarter n widening it with plates etc ..
but after alot of thinkin n looking round
a set of mk2 golf steel arches are to be cut in n welded in place and a g60 arch n skirt kit is to be customised n fitted also for that different and euro look and will all be repainted in pure white along with the alloys ..
will ave pics of progress after the W/E 8)
cheers for all the input peepl

gday peepl .. had a very busy w/e workin ont the car .. got the whole rear interior stripped out got the rear arches cut away to a round arch made up 1 front & 1 rear template arch donated from a golf mk2 ..
they look great on the car and dont ruin the shape at all .. well impressed
so brand spanker parts ave all been ordered ready for w/e again
and a drop of 60 - 70 mm was applied to the rear to make sure i had enough clearance and by joe she looks good with it :D
piccs to follow as me num nut mate forgot the camera lol ..
***UPDATE 23/05/2005***
Weel aftera few weekends of being let down by welders and waiting for parts to arrive .. my rear arches are finally on the car ..
had to cut loads of rear arch and customise the inner arches to suit the size .. the arches are great for coverage and clearance .. but the car has roughly a 70 - 80 mm drop with the interior stripped out n there still room to go alot lower ..
hoping once a false floors thrown in it should drop more,
but so far so good the rear looks great ..
** next to do is to smooth in all the arches, start work on the front arches and customise both bumpers as i want the saem shape jus deeper and lower so e fibreglass and some moulds making up over the coming weeks :D ..
also the possibility of the eingine going in soon .. awaiting confirmation of a gsi or another 2 ltr lump to drop straight in ..
pics ave been sorted jus waiting for a freind to upload them .. will post them asap :D
