bonnett question

has anyone any idea how to open your bonnett if you snap the cable not under the dash but at the mechanism???? or is at a smash your grill option?

Try taking ur front bumper off, then get hur hand up the back of the grille maybe to operate the mech!

wont work with the bumper coz it was never put on properly and its connected to the grill with tie wraps :o lol dont ask why....

Not that i can think of tbh! Cant u reach if u lie beneath th f.bumper and try putting ur hand up that why??

Or try a thin rod thru the grille!

smash the grill an get another one, easy to do with the grill off, but being the mk1 it'll be screwed in from the top.

its not for mine phil its for andys sri. mine has snapped but its under the dash and u can open the bonnett with plyers, but andys snapped today when we moved it to his grans as he wanted to disconnect the battery so some thieving little chavs dint nik it.

hes on about getting the sri sorted god knows how but do u rekon theres any chance he could get the suspension turrett repaired or is it dead?? was a bloody good car tho regardless of what everyone said.

its not really a good thing when the turret falls out
