More Headunit trouble

I got the plug i needed from halfords today and wired everything correctly, no fuses have blown but the headunit will still not turn on, is there anything else it could be b4 i get rid of it.

do you try and turn it on while the ignition is on or off?? there should be two power leads on permanent and the other switched. you may need to swap em over if poss.

Try swapping the red and the yellow wires over - and then everything should be ok.

take it its wired up to ignition?? if so run it staright to battery see if it works with no key in car. then hook it back up to ignition altering power leads and it should work fine.

i run it straight to the battery ill give it another go

Take ur red and yellow wires from the radio and link them both to the permenant live wire from the battery. Dont bother with the ignition. U get more power to the head unit so the amp in it works better.

make sure it works! put the positive and negative on the battery, if it don't switch on thats the prob!
